About The Bowhunter's Journal
The Bowhunter's Journal is an independent outdoor publication for bowhunters and anglers. We cover equipment the way hunters use it — across seasons, in weather, with a price attached — plus the destinations, access rules and field skills that make a hunt or a day on the water.
We write about hunting and fishing as legal, regulated pursuits. Seasons, bag limits and regulations are stated as the issuing agencies publish them, with dates; laws differ by state and change, and readers are always pointed to the official source. Firearms and archery coverage is editorial — reviews, history, safety and law — never facilitation of any unlawful transfer or modification.
The Bowhunter's Journal is a VUGA Network publication, operated by VUGA Enterprises LLC.
